Ealing Climate Week 2025: Celebrating Local Climate Action

Across the seven towns of Ealing, climate action has been heavy on the agenda. Consistently ranking in the top authorities in the UK for Climate Action, Ealing continues to expand their agenda.

Programmes such as the Ealing tree city have received international recognition for the third consecutive year for its successful approach to managing urban trees and woodlands, evidencing a significant commitment to their local environment.

Inspired by the continuous growth of Ealing's climate agenda, Energy Garden was thrilled to be asked to contribute to Ealing Climate Week 2025. This week aimed to encompass the work happening across the borough, highlighting community, connection and climate action.

Activities on offer spanned from tree planting and cycling to energy-saving advice and school uniform swaps, the week proved that climate action and better living go hand in hand. This week also gave professional players and organisations an opportunity to network, connect and grow.

Energy Garden, through its activities at Action Central Station and Boston Manor Station, found importance in its vision to green traditionally neglected infrastructure and to bring people together through community building and environmental education.

Our activities across the week reflected the values that have built and sustained Energy Garden. Attending the Energy Hub in Acton, to promote the benefits of community owned solar projects and their social contributions. Hosting a garden opening event at Boston Manor Station, breaking ground and hosting MP Deirdre Costigan, creating a new community and furthering the conversation of expansion for future local projects. Hosting a propagation workshop at Acton Central, supporting residents to build skills and grow resilience. Finally, contributions at the Ealing Climate and Nature Summit, offered a professional space to explore growth and opportunity within the Ealing borough.

Each of these activities allowed Energy Garden to connect with the people and projects that inspire us. They allowed us to further our activities for the benefit of local people and the planet.

It is important to note the work done by Act for Ealing and its team to make this happen. Congratulations on your success, thank you from the Energy Garden Team and we look forward to Ealing Climate Week 2026!
