Energy Garden is dedicated to transforming unused spaces on the rail into vibrant community gardens.

The Energy Garden network includes 16 community gardens across London. When you sign up to volunteer you’ll become part of this exciting network.

How does volunteering at an Energy Garden work?

Each Energy Garden is tended by a group of volunteers and an Energy Garden Engagement Officer in regular gardening sessions.

During these sessions you will do a variety of seasonal gardening activities.

All levels of gardening experience are welcome!

There is no minimum commitment to son up to volunteering with us, you can come to the garden as much or as little as you like.

Each Energy Garden group has their own WhatsApp chat, in this chat we communicate about upcoming sessions and happenings in the garden.

Once you’ve signup to volunteer with us, you will be added to your local Energy Garden Chat so that you can get involved in upcoming sessions.

Energy Garden provides all of the tools and kit that you’ll need during a session. All that you need to bring is yourself!
