About this Event
Energy Garden invites you to join us in Hounslow for a day of gardening, composting, and biodiversity exploration.
We’ll start the morning at Hatton Cross Station with compost building and regular gardening tasks, then take a guided nature walk to Blenheim Park, where we’ll finish with bird watching, plant species ID, and Miyawaki forest data collection.
It’s a hands-on, family-friendly day of nature, community, and learning; everyone’s welcome!
What to Expect
🌱 Compost & Coffee – build a compost bay
🚶 Guided nature walk to Feltham Arenas Parkland
🐦 Bird watching & biodiversity activities
🌳 Miyawaki forest tree data collection
Practical Information
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for walking and the weather.

Help us get Bush Hill Park Energy Garden ready for its most colourful spring yet! 🌷
Join us with your friends and family for a fun and relaxing spring bulb planting session at the station garden. Together, we’ll be planting a wide range of species: tulips, crocuses, snowdrops, camassias, alliums, and more — creating a vibrant blooms in the coming months.
This is a free, drop-in event, perfect for all ages. Bring your friends, family, or neighbours and get your hands in the soil for a great cause!
What to Expect

👩🌾 Tools and materials provided
Practical Info
Drop in anytime between 10:00–13:00.
All tools and materials are provided – no gardening experience needed.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

Help us plant UK native wildflowers and bulbs 🌸🌷 to create a lovely community site for next spring and to help support native UK wildlife 🐝

What to Expect
Plant a meadow 🌸, meet new people, spend time outdoors 🌞, take a break, grab some snacks 🍏!
Snacks, tools, and a great time will be provided. See you there!
Also, keep an eye out for a future session for creating a colourful banner for the meadow.

Why does a man have a tree growing on his head?
Join Jan and Pan’s storytelling caravan as they take you on journey through joyful tales of nature & growth.
Free and open to all! Children are welcome with a supervising adult.
Location
Ladbroke Grove Station's Secret Garden, London W10 6HJ. A tucked-away green space right next to the station.
How to get there
To access the garden please exit the station and wait outside the entrance. There is a black door to the left of the station entrance which is our garden access point.
Facilitators will have put a sign on the door with a phone number to call when you are waiting outside to let them know you have arrived. Just call the number on the poster and one of our team will come to let you in.
If you have any difficulties entering the garden, please speak to the station staff who can direct you to the garden or let the facilitators know you are outside.
