Community Energy Achievements So Far

We are proud to have completed two community share offers, both over-subscribed, demonstrating demand for a democratic, community-owned energy future:

2021 — First Share Offer

  • £177,000 raised from 165 members

  • 231kWp community-owned solar installed at Streatham Train Depot

  • First railway-based community energy project in the UK

2022 — Second Share Offer

  • £862,134 raised from 383 members

  • Funding secured for two new 400kWp systems across London

  • Expanding total generating capacity to just under 1MW

2023 — 2025 Growth & New Sites

  • Contract agreed with Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) for three major depot installations totalling 2.5MWp

  • 2024: 400kWp community-owned solar installed at Bedford Cauldwell

  • 2025: Development under way at Selhurst Depot, installation expected in 2026
