Hugelmound Building at Brondesbury Park

The Brondesbury Park group is planning and planting their herb garden in a bed called a Hugel mound. This is a permaculture technique were you layer larger pieces of wood and other organic matter under a layer of soil to create a mound that will decompose over time. It’s a great technique for water retention and soil health. Email beatrice@energygarden.org.uk to get involved.
