Honor Oak Park

In 2020 this garden began when community around Honor Oak Park Station came together to build planters on the platform and filled them with beautiful flowers and foliage to brighten up the station. In 2024 we began working on top of the embankment with the goal to build a biodiversity focused garden, with features like hugel mounds, a hibernaculum, and a small hedgerow.

Throughout the year, we run weekly volunteer sessions where you’ll learn more about gardening as well new skills like biodiversity surveying. Don’t let a lack of gardening experience hold you back, as our aim is to have a garden where all skill levels are welcome and learning is encouraged.

We have gardening sessions on Fridays 3:30-6:30pm . Sign up via the Join a Garden Group link on the home page or email callum@energygarden.org.uk to get involved.
