Brockley

Brockley Energy Garden is a vibrant garden with many different growing areas throughout the station. In 2016 we began the project by creating a woodland inspired garden on platform 2 beneath the existing cherry trees which create a canopy above the garden. The garden expanded in 2022 when we created a wildflower meadow along the bank of platform 1. This year we have begun a crocosmia bed along the platform which we hope will be reminiscent of late-summer in Wales.

The volunteers and station staff have dedicated so much time to this garden and love creating an inviting and creative space for the community and commuters. Throughout the year, we run weekly volunteer sessions where you’ll learn about seed saving, propagating, gardening skills, and biodiversity surveying. Don’t let a lack of gardening experience hold you back, as our aim is to have a garden where all skill levels are welcome and learning is encouraged.

We meet Tuesdays 16:00-19:00. Sign up via the Join a Garden Group link on the home page or email callum@energygarden.org.uk to get involved.
