Upcoming Community Carpentry Workshop Series!
Build your own balcony planter with us during our free community carpentry workshop series at Ebury Edge Energy Garden this summer!
We’re excited to invite Ebury Estate residents to take part in a series of free carpentry workshops designed to teach basic woodworking skills, encourage creativity, and bring some greenery onto your balcony.
During this workshop series participants will learn how to work with reclaimed timber and build a wooden planter— sized to fit your own balcony. These hands-on workshops are a great opportunity to gain practical skills in a friendly, supportive environment, whether you’re an experience builder or are completely new to carpentry.
What to expect:
Session 1: Learn the basics of carpentry—from handling tools safely to working with timber.
Session 2: Put your new skills to use and build your own planter to take home!
Once your planter is built, we'll support you in choosing the right greenery and getting your planter started.
This project is about more than just building—by working together, we’re transforming our shared spaces and homes, building skills and confidence, and making Ebury Estate greener and more vibrant
