Treescape description: Six pocket forests will encircle a community orchard beside the Longford River, forming a habitat mosaic and riparian buffer. Phase 1 of the project is complete with the introduction of the first two pocket forests.

Species selection: 26 native species across 3 layers of forest – Canopy, tree, and sub-tree. Species include Sessile Oak (Quercus petraea), Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus), Downy Birch (Betula pubescens), Whitebeam (Sorbus aria), Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea), Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa)
