Hatton Cross Biodiversity Week Session

As Part of the Energy Garden’s Biodiversity Week

15 May - Hatton Cross 12:15 - 13:00

What is a BioBlitz?

A BioBlitz is a form of citizen science where there is a concerted effort to document biodiversity within a particular setting. We’ll be documenting biodiversity at Hatton Cross Station garden.

How to Participate?

1.     RSVP so we know you’re coming

2. Download the apps iNaturalist and Seek by iNaturalist and create an account

3.     Join the Energy Garden Biodiversity 2024 Project on iNaturalist

4.     On the day, we will go through how to use the apps together and have extra resources to help with identification – no prior expertise is needed!

If you are interested, there are also some great online resources and tutorials for how to use them as well which can be found here: iNaturalist FAQs | Seek User Guide

The BioBlitz will be led by our Biodiversity Lead Ellen. Please email ellen@energygarden.org.uk if you have any further questions.
